Up and ready in two commands
Start with a world on your own machine, register a repository, and give an agent work from the app.
Raise a world
One command starts everything a single machine needs and opens the world in your browser.
skylands devworld up
Register a repository
The daemon snapshots its tracked files. A terrace rises on the island with a building for each one.
skylands repo register ~/code/storefront
Give an agent work
Dispatch work directly or let Skylands decide where the work goes. An airship takes off and gets to work.
Launch: add an amazing new feature to the cart Agent: Claude Code Where: a worktree of its own
Explore your agentic world
The world isn't just a pretty interface. Every shape is a simple representation of a concept you'd normally have to use a terminal to interact with: who's working, on what, and what's waiting on me.
One binary, two roles
A daemon turns the machine it runs on into an island in your world. A citadel serves the web app for all of them.
The island
Runs on each machine that hosts agents. It launches them, keeps their conversations, applies your rules, and keeps working when the network drops, catching the world up when it is back.
The citadel
Serves the browser. It shows every island it can reach, carries your answers to the right machine, and holds none of your code: what you read comes from the island while you look.
Both, on one machine
Runs the island and the citadel together in one process. It is the way to start, and the way to work when one machine is all you need.
